Therapeutic Philosophy

My Approach

My therapeutic approach integrates Dance Movement Psychotherapy, Gestalt, Biodynamic Body Psychotherapy, Authentic Movement, meditation and nature-based practices. This combination is rooted in my academic work, two decades of clinical experience, and a long personal exploration of how movement and contact with nature support healing.

In therapy, I support you in listening to yourself, recognising what is happening in your life, accepting your experience and expressing it in ways that feel true. Nothing is forced. My role is to accompany you as you get to know yourself more deeply and learn to be kinder with your own process.

DMP helps us observe movement; body psychotherapy reveals where emotions are held; Gestalt clarifies where cycles become interrupted; and Authentic Movement teaches us to welcome what is present.

Who I Work With

I work with young adults and adults interested in somatic approaches, meditation, creativity and meaningful personal development. Many of my clients are artists, educators, psychotherapists, and other creative professionals, as well as people seeking clarity, purpose, or well-being.

I also welcome people working in more demanding fields, such as doctors, nurses, activists, social workers, lawyers, and finance professionals seeking self-care, emotional connection, and a grounded space.

* Some clients prefer movement-based work; others choose a fully verbal, Gestalt-based process. Both options are fully supported.
