About Me
I am a psychotherapist with more than twenty years of clinical experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and life stories. My work is shaped by curiosity, presence and a commitment to somatic and relational practices that support genuine expression and healing.
My training brings together Dance Movement Psychotherapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Biodynamic Body Psychotherapy, holistic psychotherapy and meditation. I am also a doula, feminist educator and group facilitator, with a background in Rural Sociology.
Over the years, I have explored many movement practices — 5 Rhythms, Biodanza, Kung Fu, Contact Improvisation, contemporary dance, Latin American rhythms, and Native Mexican dances — that inform my understanding of embodiment.
Why Work With Me
My practice integrates somatic, relational and humanistic approaches, supported by extensive clinical experience and academic work. I teach on the Master’s programme in Dance Movement Psychotherapy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and I am a member of the editorial committee of CITARE, the first academic journal of DMP in Spanish.
I also work as an independent researcher and consultant in wellbeing, self-care and prevention of burnout.
I collaborate with charities and community organisations supporting migrants, refugees, carers and diverse communities.
"People often describe feeling safer, freer, more connected and more themselves through our work together."
Consultancy & Burnout Prevention
I offer consultancy and training on wellbeing, self-care and prevention of burnout for organisations, charities and community groups. The format, audience and fees can be adapted to each organisation.
